Group coaching, 2010 to 2026

Sixteen years of soulpreneur groups

From 2010 to 2026, I hosted masterminds, group coaching and memberships for coaches, healers and other soulpreneurs, with up to 300 members at a time. Those groups have now closed. You can still bring your business questions to my free monthly Q&A call, and my courses are open to everyone.

How it began

It started with a few people who didn’t want to build alone

In 2010, my second year of coaching full-time, a handful of heart-led business owners asked if we could keep meeting. They didn’t want another course. They wanted the steadiness of doing the work alongside each other.

That small circle became a practice I kept for sixteen years, with a group running every year from 2010 to 2026. Some seasons it was an intimate mastermind of a few committed people, and in others it grew to a few hundred.

“These are sacred and sane spaces in the crazy marketing and business world.”
— Shweta Parmar, longtime member

The groups

The groups I hosted

They took many forms over the years, and each paired my guidance with a circle of committed peers.

MasterHeart

Flagship group mentoring

My year-long authentic-business mentoring program. Members committed to a full year of building together, with regular coaching from me, small accountability teams and a private circle of peers. Some stayed five years and longer.

Authentic Business Circle

The ABC · monthly circle

A lighter monthly membership for heart-based business owners who wanted the community and group coaching without a year-long commitment.

Soul Gym

Inner practice

A gathering for the inner side of soulful business, with presence, resilience and self-care as the foundation under everything else we built.

Work Retreats

Live co-working

Calm, focused virtual co-working sessions, where members worked side by side and got their own projects done in good company.

Joyful Productivity Club

Ongoing practice

A group practicing joyful, sustainable productivity together, with gentle accountability, shared rhythms and calm, doable structure.

Before these, there were earlier masterminds and circles, going all the way back to 2010.

What made them different

What made these groups work?

I never treated the group as a bonus feature. It was the main event.

  • ✓Belonging came first. Members came for the group as much as for me, and often stayed for the friendships.
  • ✓Co-learning, never lecturing. We learned from each other’s questions, wins and stumbles. I taught from beside, not from above.
  • ✓A real person who showed up. I was in the group regularly, answering questions, giving feedback and celebrating progress.
  • ✓Bonds that outlasted the program. Friendships between members often continued long after a program ended.
  • ✓Calm, hype-free spaces. Heart-centered and unhurried, away from the loud, pressured world of online business.
  • ✓Structure that steadied people. Accountability teams, shared rhythms and clear next steps, so members felt held and oriented instead of overwhelmed.

Why I stepped back

After sixteen years of hosting groups, I brought them to a grateful close in 2026 and stepped into semi-retirement. Facilitating live groups well takes a great deal of ongoing energy.

Stepping back lets me put that energy into my courses and my free writing, which anyone can use at their own pace for years to come.

Now I keep only the offers that bring me joy and a deep sense of purpose, and that the people they serve love.
