From chore to joy
For many soulpreneurs, “networking” feels like a chore: you collect contacts and hunt for referrals, then come away drained.
You want to grow your business, but not at the expense of your soul.
When I started my business, I had no audience and almost no connections in my chosen field. The standard advice to “hustle” and “network aggressively” felt completely wrong in my body.
So, I chose a different path. I intentionally slowed down and focused on caring—a thoughtful note, a shared resource, a genuine curiosity about another person’s work.
This course teaches that way of connecting, which I call netcaring. A few of the usual rules get turned around:
- ✓A bigger network isn’t always better. You picture a circle of about 20 clients and 20 collaborators you love working with, and tend those relationships.
- ✓The “competition” in your field becomes your niche mates: colleagues who serve similar people, and who can become your greatest allies.
- ✓You choose a partner before you choose a project, and bigger collaborations grow out of small ones.
- ✓You track success in meaningful conversations, support you enjoyed giving, and referrals given and received.
We all love to support and refer people we genuinely like, trust, and enjoy.
What you’ll be able to do, step by step
Each module has short videos and a lesson document you can read or hand to your AI. Along the way, several lessons answer questions students asked me.
- Module 1 · The Foundations of Netcaring
See niche mates where you saw competitors, and become easy to refer
Shift from networking as a chore to netcaring as a joy, and list five niche mates you’d enjoy connecting with.
You’ll also meet the Collaboration Spiral, and draft your Easily Referrable Issues: issues so clear that a colleague hearing them thinks, “I know someone who wants exactly that!”
This module is free to watch for 72 hours: start the free Module 1 replay.
- Module 2 · Level 2 Collabs
Reach out with care, and try your first light collaborations
Practice small Level 1 gestures, like a kind reply to a colleague’s post, then “bless and let go,” with no need for a reply. Keep track in the Netcaring Database, my Google Sheet with a column for your favorite things about each person.
Turn your clearest issue into an Easily Referrable Offer, and sharpen your offer in a 30-minute clarity call with a colleague.
Before you invite someone to a light collaboration, like a newsletter swap, you’ll check for green and red flags in about 15 minutes. For colleagues with much bigger audiences, I share a menu of generous gifts you can offer.
- Module 3 · Level 3 Groups
Gather a small, light group of colleagues
Choose a pod format, like a habit-building pod, a co-learning circle or a book club, and write a one-page charter. Your first pod can run for three or four weeks, with as few as one other person.
The module ends with your first netcaring rhythm: a little time each week that feels light and doable.
- Module 4 · Co-Creating with Confidence
Co-create a project with a partner, on clear and kind agreements
Pick your partner before the project, using five Advancement Gates like responsiveness and follow-through. (I created them after rushing into a co-teaching partnership that didn’t go well.)
Then find a project that fits both your strengths, agree on money, roles and timeline, and write a one-page agreement. For your first co-created project, I suggest a value swap, with no money involved.
You’ll also plan how you each share the project in your own voice, and keep things clear with a mid-project pulse check and a short debrief.
- Module 5 · Your Netcaring Rhythm
Keep netcaring going in a way that fits your energy
Set a weekly budget for your time and energy, and learn the warning signs of over-giving, like resentment or scorekeeping. Choose a few heart-based ways to measure success, and decide which connections to nurture and which to let lie fallow.
Then design two rhythms: an Ideal Rhythm for spacious seasons, and a Minimum Viable Rhythm for the weeks when life gets full.
The Collaboration Spiral
At the heart of this course is the Collaboration Spiral, a flexible framework for cultivating professional relationships that deepen organically.
Unlike a rigid ladder you must climb, the Spiral provides five distinct levels of partnership. It gives you the clarity to know the appropriate next step in any relationship—from a simple Level 1 gesture of appreciation to a significant Level 4 joint venture.
The five levels
- 1Gentle hellos
- 2Your first project together
- 3A small circle, or “pod”
- 4Creating a project together
- 5Deep partnership
Each relationship finds its own joyful level. You might co-host a webinar with a colleague one season, then spiral back to an occasional chat.
You can read about the Spiral on my blog for free, if you’d like a feel for the course first.
What students loved most
When students write about this course, these are the moments they mention most:
- ✓Relief at finding a way to connect with colleagues that feels aligned, where the joy is in sharing.
- ✓Getting clear on the issues they help with, in words a colleague can pass on. The Easily Referrable Issues lesson drew more responses from students than any other.
- ✓Seeing “competitors” as niche mates, and feeling drawn to reach out to them.
- ✓Small first steps they could take right away, like sending a few notes of appreciation in the middle of a lesson.
- ✓Deepening a working relationship one level at a time, so the trust is there before the bigger project.
These reflections come from students of earlier versions of the course.
“I find the systematic, detailed approach in this course immensely helpful. This will make a significant difference in my ability to serve more people.
I’m relieved by seeing a doable way of creating the right relationships, cultivating them in a meaningful, genuine way, step by step.”

“I’ve been sharing my content widely on social media and have increased inquiries and connections with many like-minded people. However, I wanted strategies for staying in touch in a genuinely warm and caring way.
This course (Netcaring) provided all of that!”

“Netcaring is the networking course for every self-employed professional to learn how to connect with their clients as well as their network in an organic, non-intrusive manner. George teaches in a way that is both empathic and with the aim of building connections that matter.
The best money you’ll ever spend on a course!”

“As I watched it, I felt the stress melt away in not having to keep up and network in the classic way that I was taught as best practices. Netcaring really presses the joy and excitement buttons for my coaching business!”
“And being honest, I was looking at my nichemates more through the competition lens (which of course feels bad). But seeing them as a nichemate feels SO much better! Actually makes me want to reach out and say hi and get to know them as we are doing the same work.”

Small kindnesses, long friendships
Early on, when I had no one on my email list, a colleague with 10,000 subscribers offered to co-promote one of my first courses. I hadn’t asked, and that one offer brought me my first 20 or 30 students.
Another colleague had the bigger audience when I started doing small, useful things for him. We became long-term friends.
I keep track of these relationships in a tracker, because I don’t have the greatest memory.
A good fit if…
- ✓You’re a coach, healer, teacher or other soulpreneur, and “networking” has felt like a chore
- ✓You’d love more colleagues who know your work well enough to send people your way
- ✓Your audience is small, and you’re not sure what you could offer colleagues with bigger ones
- ✓You’d like to collaborate, with a gentle way to choose partners and agree on who does what
- ✓You like learning at your own pace, and practicing a little each week
Probably not if…
- ×You want personal coaching or feedback. This course is recorded, and you work through it at your own pace
- ×You’d rather not meet anyone one-to-one. Level 2 centers on short calls with colleagues
- ×You want quick results. Netcaring grows through small, steady actions over weeks and months
By the end, you’ll…
- 1Reach out to colleagues in small, caring ways, with no agenda.
- 2Say what you help with in a way colleagues can easily pass on.
- 3Know the right next step with each person, and who’s ready for more.
- 4Know how to gather a small group, and how to co-create with a partner on a one-page agreement.
- 5Have a netcaring rhythm that fits your energy, with a minimum version for busy seasons.

Before you enroll
“Do I need a big audience or network?”
No. You start with five niche mates you already admire.
And if a colleague has a much bigger audience than yours, one lesson shows you generous gifts you can offer that don’t depend on audience size.
“How much time does it take?”
The videos come to about three and a half hours, in short lessons across five modules (plus two walkthrough videos).
The practice itself can stay light: a starting rhythm might be two 15-minute sessions a week.
In the last module, you set your own weekly budget for time and energy.
“Who do I practice with?”
Colleagues from your own circle. The clarity call and your first pod each need just one other person, and the course shows you how to find and invite them.
“I’m an introvert, and networking drains me. Is this a good fit?”
Absolutely. This path was designed for gentle souls.
Level 1 gestures are short written notes, and your pod can run on messages at your own pace.
Level 2 does include short calls, and you set a time and energy budget that keeps the practice sustainable.
“What if a colleague sees me as a competitor?”
Some people aren’t open to collaborating until they see good examples around them.
You offer small gestures with no expectation of a reply, and put more of your time into the colleagues who respond in kind.
“Can’t AI just write my outreach for me?”
AI can help you draft, and the course includes prompts for outreach messages, collaboration ideas and simple agreements.
The care has to come from you. As more of what people read is written by AI, a sincere note from a real person becomes rarer, and more welcome.
“Can I use it with my AI?”
Yes. Give a module’s lesson document to ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, and work through the course together.
“Can I try it before I buy?”
Yes. Module 1 is free to watch for 72 hours after you sign up with your email: start the free replay.
If you buy the course, Module 1 comes with it, along with all the others, and you keep them for life.
“Will I get personal feedback?”
The course is recorded, and it doesn’t include personal feedback.
Several lessons answer questions students asked me, and you can bring your own questions to my free monthly Q&A call.
“What if I fall behind?”
Most students fall behind at some point, and I recorded a lesson for those moments.
You take two small actions to come back in, without catching up on everything first.
